Brain collages coming soon!

I am happy to announce I will be participating in an exhibition called “A theory of everything”, curated by Elizabeth Murton. I will be showing my brain collages!

Come and have a look at the eclectic combination of artists and ideas. Private view on the 24th of June 2011. More info: http://atheoryofeverything.tumblr.com/

These collages will keep changing as the emulsion of the printed photograph disappears with time, which sort of makes them an unfinished project. View high resolution

I used one of my photographs (cropped fingers) to make a photo collage. Not so sure whether to include my photographs as part of these projects, will keep trying. View high resolution

For this collage, I used a newspaper from 1955, found on the streets of London in 2010 (perhaps someone had put it in the bin for some reason). I am new to this, but I have been reading quite a bit about the theory behind collage making and looking at artists’ works. The more I learn, the more fascinated I become with this type of vernacular yet complex art. View high resolution
